My work focuses on visual perception within the Icelandic Vision Lab (www.visionlab.is). Within the Acute Group I am working on vibrotactile perception and its interaction with other senses (mainly audition and vision). The aim with this work is to understand vibrotactile tactile perception in general, and to use this knowledge to develop sensory substitution devices for people with perceptual problems (hearing loss, or visual problems).
