We are pleased to announce the publication of a new paper by Satish Bonthu and collaborators in the International Journal for Numerical Methods in Engineering.
The paper presents a structure-preserving model-order reduction approach for time-domain room acoustics based on the Linearised Euler Equations. The formulation eliminates instabilities found in conventional approaches and achieves significant speedups, enabling faster yet stable acoustic simulations with complex boundary conditions.
