Mohammad Karimi

Mohammad Karimi received his BSc in Mechanical Engineering in 2010 and his MSc in Mechanical Engineering in 2014. After completing his studies, he worked in industry for nearly a decade. He contributed in several multidisciplinary projects as an expert, team management, and project manager, where he gained experience in system thinking, quality-oriented approaches, computational analysis, programming, and risk management. This background strengthened his problem-solving skills and ability to collaborate across technical disciplines in complex engineering environments.

In 2025, he began his PhD at the University of Iceland, where his research focuses on rhythmic haptic communication using vibrotactile systems. His academic interests include psychophysics, signal processing, and the design of low-load non-verbal communication methods for wearable technology.
